Dogs at Lake Garda

Q. I am going to visit Lake Garda in summer 2011 and want to take my dog. I would like to know how welcome dogs are in the area, especially if they are allowed on the beaches, or do they have special dog beaches and if so where they are.

A. Great question and one that has never been asked before! I am not 100% sure of the answer so maybe someone out there knows and if they could contact us, I will post the answer right away.

Is Lake Garda Dog Friendly?

I see no reply was ever posted about taking your Dog to Lake Garda. We are taking ours soon and would be grateful for any help. I don't think they are allowed on the beaches but would be nice to know where they can be let off for a good run and if Lake Garda itself is dog friendly. I will post my experiences when I return! I hope it is relaxed we took him to Holland last time and everybody was so chilled about dogs, able to take him everywhere.
