We are thinking of booking a holiday with travelshere to Lake Garda staying in Riva. My husband has some difficulty in walking and has to walk with a stick would Riva be suitable if not can you recommend another part of the island where we could stay and perhaps take some trips out from the hotel.
Many thanks,
Pat
A. Hi Pat, although Riva is surrounded by mountains and hills on the west, the town itself is relatively flat. There are some streets which are sloping, but many are flat and the lakeside area is all pretty level. I would think Riva would be fine for someone with a walking stick. Hope you have a great time!
