"There are some interesting places to go Lake Garda diving"
Lake Garda diving is not something you really take a whole lot of notice of at first, because there is so much else happening on the lake. The fact that there is a dozen or so diving centres though proves that it is actually quite a popular sport. Snorkelling can also be a lot of fun and the clear water gives you great views of the lake bed.

If you have never dived before I really recommend it! While at first all the preparation of safety procedures seems a bit daunting, when it comes to the dive it's actually pretty easy and calm experience. You will need to dive with qualified instructors and dives are usually done in small groups for around half and hour or so. If you want to be an expert you can do a course and get your diving licence with allows you
to dive on your own in future.
Snorkelling of course is a great deal cheaper and easier for those who like studying underwater but don't want to go to the extent of a dive.
The clear waters make this very enjoyable and if you stick to a quiet area near the coast you should have to worry much about boat (hire boats are not allowed within 500m of the lakeside). The water depths allows vary quite a lot and in some places in the north it get deep very quickly. Take a look at the
