There is a page dedicated to season tickets - I think they are for humans (they talk about pets in the notes!) but I'm not sure how to follow it or if tourists can buy them either? Maybe someone else can make sense of it? Link: http://www.navigazionelaghi.it/eng/g_abbonamenti.html

Riva del Garda by: dave clark
Hi just got back Garda is everything you read and better. We stayed in riva but you can walk to Torbole which is about 2 miles but a lovely lake walk with a lot of bars on route. You can go to Limone by ferry or Malcesnie. If you want to you can by a daily northern hopper to go to as many of these 4 places for 15.80 euros each and back in 1 day or pay for indivigal journeys.
If you want to go south you would need to catch the rapido ferry a little more expensive, but a lot quicker especially if you are going to say Sirmionie for example. Run out of time will write again later any questions feel free to ask but if you are thinking of going my advice is do it it really is worth it.

Ferry tickets at Lake Garda by: John and florence
When we stayed in Desenzano, we could buy a ferry ticket to cover the southern half of Lake Garda for a full day for ?18.....hop on-off as you wish at any port of call.
You should be able to buy a ticket for the Northern half from Riva
Tickets also available for the full lake , but this is too much travel for one day.
There is a ticket office at every port and they speak English---They will advise you.
We holidayed in Riva a few years back.
Everything about the holiday was beyond our expectations.....we keep coming back to Lake Garda.
