This isn't an amazing story this is just to say that thanks to your comments and pictures of Torri del Benaco we chose it as our base for a week on Lake Garda, our second visit to the lake after a gap of 19 years, and we discovered what a lovely little town it is. Torri is so pretty and so quiet, mind you this was early May it could be much busier and noisier in the height of summer. There are plenty of good restaurants and some lovely shops.
